What can I say it’s been an unbelievable couple of weeks …
Firstly, I’d like to give a massive thank you to every single one of you who bought my album and supported me so far, and if you voted for me, you have all helped me get my Brit. It’s one of the best achievements I have (not counting the egg and spoon race at school!) I’ve been so overwhelmed by it all. But, there’s no time to waste, I’m now in the middle of my latest UK tour and as I always say, that’s where you see the real me. I’m never happier than when I’m performing and you guys are into it.
So far on this tour I have played in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Birmingham, Southampton and two shows in Manchester. They have all been absolutely amazing, 2-3 thousand people a night. My biggest gigs so far, and my best.
It’s been so good to have two great artists on the road with me. Newton Faulkner and Karima Francis are two equally talented, amazing singer/songwriters. I feel proud to be among such nice people, we’ve enjoyed many a night drinking, making weird music and enjoying the tour together. Next are the London and Leicester shows, Denmark at the weekend.
Life is going at the speed of light, but I am so grateful for all that life has given me. I’ll try to speak soon, who knows where I’ll be… I know I’m going to be doing my first proper shows in the USA in March/April and I should be able to give you details of those later this week. Australia, N.Z and Japan in May, and lots of European festivals in the summer, so I really hope to see you somewhere along the way. Oh, and there are the forest shows we’re doing in England too. Like I said, it’s all moving so fast! Anyway, come along and say hello along the way and keep giving me your feedback.
