A big hello from me to everyone in the cyber network! Thought I’d just take a moment to say I hope everyone’s New Year has started well? Christmas was a welcome rest for me; I escaped back to the beach in Cornwall, saw all my old friends and family, ate the turkey, laughed a lot, cried a bit, but enjoyed some time to reflect on the past two amazing years.

Hopefully all your hangovers have gone by now and the January blues have been left well behind… The start to my year has been great, nothing too full-on, lots of songwriting actually… and life is good. I’ve been working on album no2 actually, working really hard making sure the tunes are gonna be good. As a writer you go up and down through the process, but that’s life anyway, and I’m feeling optimistic I won’t let myself, or you down. There’s been so much stuff packed into two years, that its been good to have a breather for a moment, even if its brief, but I will resurface at some point before too long!

I’ve got just a handful of live summer shows coming up which is cool, coz I haven’t gigged in a while, actually it feels like years… It’s something I really miss when I’m not doing it. So please keep an eye out for those.

I did a piece of recording recently with another artist called Jason Mraz. He’s a really good artist from the U.S. Please check out his albums if you haven’t already, he’s got a great voice and writes cool songs. I sang a harmony part to his song called ‘Sewing Machine’ and it turned out really well. Its cool to be collaborating a little.

Anyway, I’ll be back (like Arnie) and I’ll let everyone know what’s going on along the way.

Also a big thank you to everyone who brought my album and came to see me or anyone who contributed to me still being able to exist and keep doing what I’m doing, I’m so exited to show you all what I have been doing with my music recently, so until then.

Adios
James x
