Day 1, Norwich
So, back on tour, itks been a while. First date was Norwich UEA, a venue I’d played 2 years ago but returning made it feel like yesterday. A really good gig, nice and sweaty, not too big. I was really nervous because it was the first one and Martin Harley had played a great set to open the night. The crowd were really up for it and there was a great mix of people…..even though there were two really tall guys with beards who looked really intense. Anyway, I think everyone loved it. I managed to forget some of the lyrics but everyone seemed to find it as funny as I did, so no harm done. If this was the first and the reaction was like that, this tour can only get better. We got straight back on the bus, bought far too many sweets and all got a sugar rush, a bad ideas as it took me another 3 hours to get to sleep.
Next stop Lincoln…….
