Hey everyone, it’s James here, mailing you from bonnie Scotland, where we’re performing in Glasgow tonight.
I’m really excited now that the tour is underway. Rehearsals have been amazing and for those who didn’t see the shows we did in November, just wait till you hear this new band and the set we’ve put together for you. You know it’s live where I really have the best time, so I’m looking forward to seeing you all down the front.
We’re off to the USA for a tour after this and then back into Europe for some great shows, so I’ll tell you about those when I can.
I want to mention the support acts for this UK tour as I think you’re going to like them. Opening night in Manchester was the amazing Karima Francis, who came out with me on the first album for a few shows, she’s made her album since then, it’s called ‘The Author’ I actually think it’s out this week, and I love it.
Then the main support is a brand new band called Vagabond. They have lots of funky and soulful influences and the singer has a cool voice. And finally, as a one off treat, I’m bringing along Martin Harley to the Royal Albert Hall show, for those who came to the November gigs, Martin was the guy who played there with his band.
All great artists, all great music, so get in early and enjoy!!
